Assesment
This course adopts a modern, career-focused approach to learning by removing the need for traditional formal examinations. Instead, your progress is measured through a diverse range of authentic assessments designed to mirror the tasks you will encounter in the professional world. You will demonstrate your expertise through technical outputs such as CAD drawings and specifications, alongside practical assessments and the compilation of a comprehensive portfolio of evidence. Communication and analytical skills are further refined through professional discussions, group debates, and the analysis of real-world case studies, ensuring you graduate with a well-rounded and practical skillset.
In addition to these hands-on tasks, you will complete traditional academic requirements, including reports, project essays, and in-class tests. These are often paired with work-based projects that allow you to apply classroom theory to industry scenarios. To succeed in such a varied program, a commitment to self-study is essential. You will be expected to manage your own time outside of scheduled sessions to conduct independent research, finish homework assignments, and collaborate on group work. Throughout the study period, your lecturers will act as mentors, providing structured guidance on how to master these independent learning techniques and approach each assessment type with confidence.
