Assesment

At Learn Quest Education, our assessment strategy is carefully designed to build your academic confidence and ensure you are fully prepared for success. You will have regular opportunities to test your knowledge through informal formative assessments, which take place before your final marks are determined. Each module typically includes at least one of these developmental tasks, allowing you to receive valuable feedback from your course team without the pressure of it counting toward your final grade. These sessions are essential for mastering the module material and understanding the expectations of higher-level study; in fact, students who actively engage with this feedback often find the transition through the Foundation Year much smoother and more successful.

Your final marks are determined by summative assessments, which usually occur toward the end of each module. These formal evaluations are diverse and may include written examinations alongside a variety of coursework such as reports, portfolios, essays, and professional presentations. To ensure your education remains current and of the highest quality, these assessment methods are reviewed annually. We take into account student feedback, industry developments, and the guidance of External Examiners independent academic experts from other universities appointed by Canterbury Christ Church University. This rigorous oversight ensures that the academic standards of your course remain high and nationally recognized.
